Sit, Stay, & Stand-Up!
On August 14th at 9pm come enjoy a night of hound howling humor when the Gut-Buster Comedy Room presents "Sit, Stay, and Stand-Up!" Audience members will enjoy jokes from top comedians, Tim Bateman and Terry Comeaux, great drink specials; all while supporting hundreds of homeless animals of St. Tammany Parish. There will also be giveaways for people with the lucky tickets. The show will be held at the Holiday Inn on Hwy 190. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Humane Society or by the phone at (985) 892-7387 or (985) 898-5293. The Gut-Buster Comedy Room is located inside the Holiday Inn off hwy 190 in Covington and features professional comedy shows every second Saturday of each month.
Make sure to stop by the Humane Society or call us to buy your $15 ticket because half of the proceeds from this night support the tremendous efforts of both the St. Tammany Humane Society and the Gut-Buster Comedy Room.

Who We Are
The St. Tammany Humane Society is the only non-profit animal sheltering and welfare organization serving St. Tammany parish, and as such, we rely primarily on the assistance of the community we serve to care for the more than 1,000 orphaned pets that enter our shelter each year.
We offer a variety of services and have developed several programs to give these companion animals a second chance and a new leash on life.
