Humane Help
We receive no government funding and no funding from any national organization. To help orphaned animals we depend totally on the generosity of our community. While cash donations are preferred you can donate your time by volunteering or donate items that we can use or even items that we can sell such as your used car, used yacht even used jewelry like that diamond tennis bracelet sitting in your draw. Your "junk" will be turned into cash which will be used to help abused, neglected, and homeless animals!

Who We Are
The St. Tammany Humane Society is the only non-profit animal sheltering and welfare organization serving St. Tammany parish, and as such, we rely primarily on the assistance of the community we serve to care for the more than 1,000 orphaned pets that enter our shelter each year.
We offer a variety of services and have developed several programs to give these companion animals a second chance and a new leash on life.
