This is your invitation to sponsor our revamped fundraiser, Woofstock, just as in years past. The event is located at Bogue Falaya Park in downtown Covington on April 6, 2008.  Due to an increase in population here on the Northshore and trying to meet the needs of our community, our focus will be to raise awareness of the importance of keeping our pets healthy. There will be no festival this year just the low cost veterinary clinic. It will be larger than in years past, and located inside the park. You will be able to park your cars inside the park as well. This will now be the largest low cost vet clinic in the parish. We will have extended hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
For 19 years, generous sponsors of the Pooch Parade, now known as Woofstock, have helped to make this the successful, fun event it has become for over 1500 residents and 700 dogs who paw-ticipate.  As a sponsor your name and your company’s name will be featured in our advertising and newsletter depending on the level of sponsorship you choose.  The levels are as follows: 
ONE TOP DOG (Naming Rights of Festival)   $1,000.00 & UP, LEADER OF THE PACK $500.00, PAWFECT PATRON $300.00, and HOT DOG $100.00.
Please partner with us to put on an event that will impact the community, raise awareness, and help vaccinate dogs that would not normally be vaccinated or micro-chipped due to financial constraints. We can do our part in keeping the costs low, but only if we have help from you, our sponsors to defray the costs. We will offer vaccinations, heartworm tests , micro-chips, and discounted flea and tick medications and heartworm meds.
